John’s Yawn Jawn is a special blend I designed after one of my favorite indie musicians, John Andrews, who has a band called John Andrews & the Yawns, a mellow, retro folky band off the indie label, Woodsist. John's music and personality translate well into a comforting, cozy tea that smells lovely because of the lemon verbena and lavender. Sage, marshmallow root, and echinacea represent John’s peaceful and earthy personality which is combined with a bunch of nerve tonics in hopes of providing a sleep tea without using valerian root, which is ineffective for a small percentage of people. Even without the valerian I must say this one is powerful, so if you wanna yawn, grab your long johns, put John on, and brew up a cup of Johns Yawn Jawn!
In return for the tea blend John took on tour, John made an animated commercial for Craft Tea that came out so well! He handpainted 400 frames to produce it - check it out at the bottom of this page!

John keeps cranking out the hits! He’s shifted his sound on each release, and on his fourth album, he’s added strings to give it a cheery pop sound à la Harry Nilsson and Belle & Sebastian.
