Yeah, Yeah

Woo! Debuted a special tea at the Coffee & Tea Fest in Valley Forge this year. Wanted to do something special for the hometown crowd and what better way than a tea inspired by the music of Kurt Vile? This tea is an ode to Mt Airy and a tribute to the Sasquatch rocker you may see walking the Wissahickon. The blend is mellow to the utmost degree – inspired by the dream jams on Wakin On a Pretty Daze. Art by longtime Philly dude, Brad Maule, who’s been rockin’ with Kurt & War on Drugs since the ol’ days. Yeah, yeah...

Vinyl Pairing: Kurt Vile – Wakin on a Pretty Daze (2013)

Wakin was a moment of actualization for Kurt Vile. Kurt proclaimed himself as “Philly’s Constant Hitmaker” years before he had any, and by the time Wakin came out they gave him a key to the city! This double LP features several extended jams with transcending sounds overlaying one another. The album artwork is worth the price of admission alone, but in addition you get killer songs like the title track, Girl Named Alex and Goldtone.

Further Listening: B'lieve I'm Goin Down... (2015); Smoke Ring for My Halo (2011)
